lysozyme - help (Dec/10/2006 )

Excuse me ,I want to use the lysozyme, but i don't know the suitable temperature,who know it ,please tell me .

If you go to Qiagen manual for His tagged protein purification, it suggests to resuspend ecoli pellet in lysis buffer, add lysozome, and then rock at 4 degree for 0.5h. Therefore, lysozome works at 4 degree. It works better at RT. I am not sure about 37 degree.
