Binding partners to protein of interest - (Oct/20/2006 )

I am trying to isolate protein binding partners. Could anyone suggest any other methods apart from yeast 2hybrid or phage display?

your not prefered methods have the advantage of a systematic screening but take some time; some like to immunoprecipitate their protein of interest analyze in 2D GE and Ms/Ms co-precipiated proteins; if you have larger amounts of your protein, you can immobilize it and do pull down assays

there are databases to follow protein-protein interactions
