cancer-specific proteins - (Oct/03/2006 )

Hi, everybody!
I was wondering if you can give me advise - I wanna use immunostaining of colon cancer, only the cancer cells, so I was wondering what antibody to use, I mean antibody to which protein. I found about cytokeratins, but I ll be very grateful if somebody with experience in this can tell me is it specific enough.

why don´t you try with the DCC receptor, should be highly expressed in colon cancer cells.
