nuclei fractionation for western blotting - (Jul/25/2006 )

I want to isolate nuclei for western blotting. I have previously done fractionation to look at membrane and cytosol fractions. In that protecol the nuclei came down in the first quick spin. Is this a good method to use. Do I need to perform further purification or washes? Any advice is appreciated.
