sequencing cyclic peptides - (Jul/15/2006 )

hi another query plz.
how do u sequence cyclic peptides?

If you can digest them in one place only, you should be able to sequence by edman method.
Or, you might get lucky and get something from MS/MS sequencing (my assumption is that there's no real difference between the collision reaction of a linear peptide and a cyclic one...)
