salvaging silver staining mistake? - (Jul/11/2006 )

i just realized (now that i'm home and the lab is closed) that instead of leaving my silver stained gels in water overnight, they're still in developer/stopper solution.. is this ok or am i screwed? thanks!

if the development has been stopped then it should be okay. if not then you can destain or partially destain the gel later.

either way, no real problem.
