Y2H vectors compatible? - (May/18/2006 )
Hi, I am quite new to yeast two hybrid technique.
We have a pACT2 thymus library and I have to construct my bait sequence into a BD domain vector. I have pGBT9 and pGBKT7 as the empty DNA-BD vectors. Would both of them be compatible to the pACT2 library or which one should I use.
I would appreciate for your answers.

I've been working with yeast all summer it shouldn't matter as to which BD vector you use. I'm using the pGBKT7 vector for bait and the pACT2 vector for the library. It works just fine for me.
