cloning restriction fragment for sequencing - (Apr/24/2006 )

Hi,

I have to sequence a 5.5kb not 1 fragment. For that I suppose I should clone it into a vector with T3, T7 or M13 ( those primers are readily available at our sequencing facility. Please suggest some vectors that I can use. I tried loking for pBS and pCr2.1, both have not1 site in the mcs, but the vendors seem to be selling only the pre-linearized form for TA cloning or am I wrong about this.

Does anyone know of any other, cheaper options?

pUC19 would be a good choice, and is very common. pUC18 is the same, with the MCS inverted.
