Handling of cell extracts - (Nov/25/2005 )

I have some cell extracts (gentle lyse with ELB+ to preserve protein-protein interactions) that I have frozen in the -80 freezer.
When thawing the extracts for a CO-IP assay, I'd like to know how to thaw these extracts to best preserve the protein-protein interactions. (ie. slow thaw, very slow thaw).

quik is not good. I would thaw them in ice.
Best procedure is to aliquot your samples and defrost only one at time.
