help on western blots using plasma or serum - (Nov/15/2005 )

I am looking for a Western blot protocol for plasma or serum samples, particularly the steps to prepare the samples before loading the gel. For instance, do you have to do some special treatments to the plasma or serum? Or can you just add them into loading buffer and load?

One suggestion is dilute the serum/plasma first before loading in the lysis buffer havinh regular inhibitors.
