rabbit intestinal cDNA - Full length cloning (Oct/17/2005 )
Hi,
I have a partial clone of the 3' end of a gene from rabbit intestine. I need to get the 5' end. what is the easiet method of getting it without librabry screening? I can make a pcr primer in the known region. If there is a way to make double stranded cDNA of rabbit intestinal RNA and ligate a double stranded primer, I can make another primer to this region.
I would apreciate any help anybody can give.
Thanks a ton,
RK

Hi,
Using a technology called DNA Walking is the easiest one without a library. There several kits like that. You may go to this web site to take a look: http://www.lamdabiotech.com/displaycategor...p?Categoryid=89
Good luck!
