CHIP- Real Time PCR calculations - (Jun/02/2009 )

Hello again !
I started using real time pcr and I am confused about my results. :P
For example, for one of my genes, I have the following results:
Input : 28.16
Mock : 29.88
Antibody 1: 29.25
Antibody 2: 27.25

I am doing the following calculations :
Input : 28.16-3.3 = 24.86
Input- mock = 2 (-5.02)
Input- Antibody 1= 2 (-4.39)
Input - Antibody 2= 2(-2.39)
Mock : 3%
Antibody 1: 4,7 %
Antibody 2: 19.2 %

Is something wrong with the calculations? Should I do something else?
Thanks in advance

check out ChIP qpCR template at invitrogen. for percent input, it does depend on what percent of input you are removing. for example, if removing 1%, then correction factor is 6.6. or if 10%, then correction factor is 3.3

hope this helps
