Is there anybody know why tricine sds-page can separate the low molecular weight proteins better than glycine sds-page ???

Thank you so much. I've read the file attached but I still don't know the role of tricine in this method and what is the difference between using tricine and glycine.

tricine migrates more slowly than glycine. this allows for improved separation of low molecular weight proteins and peptides at lower acrylamide concentrations than with glycine.
