two hybrid system - opinion (Nov/09/2010 )

hello to everybody,

I'm writing to ask an opinions about the two hybrid system.
I'm going to determine the interacting proteins to my protein of interest, but I don't have any experience with this technique.

So I'm asking which is the best kit that you guys believe to be for a beginner like me . I bet that someone prefers to make everything, reagent, cells stock, libraries, from scratch, avoiding kits (old school..) but I need an honest opinion about which "brands" are easy to use based on your experience.

PS: which is the main advantage of the two hybrid system over mass spec for the identification of protein=protein interaction ?
