i just want to ask how to estimate the size of my protein? how to estimate a 500 bp construct to kilodalton? thank you...

If you know the sequence you can use online tools to translate it into amino acids and then use the amino acid sequence to calculate MW.

3 bases = 1 amino acid = 110da(approximately)
50 bases = 19 amino acids (app) = 110 X 19 Daltons
