Hello everyone!!!

Could you please tell me some controls for the CHX-assay?

I am working with a seems-to-be-stable protein that its levels don't go down even after using 100 microgr/ml of CHX for 24 hrs. Is there a/some controls to show that the assay works (meaning a short lived protein)?

tp53 has a half life of approx 0.5 hours and is induced between 8 and 12 hours post UV treatment.
