Education - (Apr/26/2009 )

hello everyone. I am new here and am currently in school for molecular genetics. I am 6 months from bachelors degree. I just want to make sure that I am on the right path.

When I finish my bachelors degree I plan to get my Masters and my Phd. I want to make sure that as a student that I am studing the right things to be in this field.

I am welcome to suggestions on what I should take what degrees I should seek, etc. Thank you so much.

What papers do you like to read?

There are many fields to study, do you have listen about structural biology, molecular biophysics or sistems biology, I particulary recomend you look at http://www.ucl.ac.uk/complex/

Student research at CoMPLEX
Topics for PhD projects include:

<*> Mathematical modelling of molecular evolution, evolutionary genomics, gene and metabolic networks, cancer biology and immunology.
<*> Bio and neuro informatics.
<*> Biophysics of vascular fluid mechanics, hearing and ion channels.
<*> Imaging, optical and scanning probe approaches to nanoscale bioscience.
<*> Mathematical and Physical Science approaches to cardiovascular biomedicine.
