you forgot the whiskers...this is a harp whitecoat....the white fur is a camouflage, it'd be shed a few days after birth..these seal pups are always in danger- from nature, the unscrupulous hunters....so yes, they kinda trigger our mothering instinct...

I prefer the fully equipped and heated research station. Otherwise a lot of furs would be necessary to keep warm
