Nope, born in Madrid and died in a convent in Rome....was in Harvard and King's College in Cambridge....he probably dressed in black too...what was the famous refrain from his song..."Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." pretty talented guy.... :D

Hmm, my Santana played first in Striptease-Clubs in San Francisco, later in Woodstock ( :) ). Recorded a quite good remake of Fleetwood Mac's "Black Magic Woman"; and he still lives... a Mexican BTW.
