creationists and epigenetics - (May/09/2012 )
I just saw this and had to share it with you people. It is amazing how people distort scientific arguments in their own convenience...

per chance, are you a pastafarian?
no offense to the guys wrote the books, but i wouldn't trust a theology professor and a cataract surgeon to tell me about genetics or epigenetics. i'm sure they're smart people but... they're not.
may they be touched by the noodly appendage. ramen.
The beauty about religion/believe or convenience is that you dont really need to prove things or you can prove things by saying its "ment to be like this" or its written down in "some holy book".
One of the most used examples to prove creationism is the bacterial Type IV secretion system, while it is in fact a beautifull system to show how evolution works.
But explaining this (evolution) to a novice is hard, explaining to a novice how creationism created this on the other hand, is easy (or a lot easier).
"Science has proof without any certainty. Creationists have certainty without any proof." (Ashley Montagu)
