I don't think this is the only reason for hiring because one of my labmates applied for the same position at the same time but he ignored her CV and he didn't call her at all.

I still dont get it.
You are also very vague.

Are you or not, going to do a PhD then? (when accepting his offer).

It seems that you are still not sure what you are going to do or what they expect from you...

Iam expecting to do my Phd,I know It seems that I'm a very hesitated person but this is because I had my worst experience during my Msc program

So you are expecting to do a PhD.. Well then, its simple: do you want to do that PhD or not?

To be honest: its normal to have doubts, but having too much doubts and wanting to quit "the academic world" even before you start... thats not good.. However (and this is important!!!!) ===> do you want to quit the academic (research) world because you had enough with research or because you had a bad PI in the past.
If it is because of the first, then dont start the PhD and get another job... and do it fast...because you wont last long.

If it is because of the bad PI: I dont see why you have doubts.. Its not because you had one idiot working with you, that everyone is an idiot...

well, there is a saying, "better the devil you know than the devil you don't" so it's natural to feel anxiety when you take a risk with something or someone you're unfamiliar with even if your current circumstance is not ideal....

btw, and this is very relevant since you are considering to get into the PhD program....what about your PhD project? This shld weigh in equally in your decision as well. Is it going to be one of those fishing expeditions that you may not have results after labouring for three years? Do you have all the necessary tools and equipment to do your work or would you go knocking on every door asking permission to use theirs? And what about supervision? Is there anybody who can guide you esp during the initial period or who'd help you if you get stuck? Would this new PI be available for consultation etc.

I will think about what you said and try to find a moderate solution. Many thanks Casandra
