Bought companies in references - (Dec/09/2009 )

Hello!
I just got a quick question on a paper reference. I usually state manufacturer, city and country for chemicals used. Now I have some enzymes from Jülich Fine Chemicals, a company that apparently was bought by Codexis in 2005. What am I supposed to write in this case?

This is what I would do.

Imagine I use product A from company X from Germany that is bought by company Y from Italy.

I would then say:

product A from Y, Italy (formerly known as X, from Germany).


So I would simply use all the "new" references (refering to the new company) but include a litte note like: formerly X...
