Analysis of two TF on one promoter. - (Oct/01/2005 )
Hi, I'm just starting out with ChIP. The sonication tips I found on this board were great. Now, I want to analyze the binding of two transcription factors to one promoter, and the binding sites of the transcription factors are 60 nt apart. Do you think a ChIP can resolve these binding sites with extensive sonication?
So, my DNA fragrment would have to be <60 nt long and depending on the induction of my cells, I would probe for both TFs and see if one, or both are binding. Does anyone think this is possible. Any suggestion are appreciated, Kevin.
