Extraction of red blood cells - (Sep/29/2005 )

Hi,

I’m looking for a protocol for extraction of red blood cells from the blood. I already have the general idea, but I need detail such as the concentration of heparin (anticoagulant) that is needed in the washing solution for example...

in this protocol, they don't mention heparne in the extraction. keeping on ice reduces the coagulation i know.
