Interferon response detection kit? - (Sep/29/2005 )

I am designing shRNAs to achieve a stable knockdown of a gene of interest. I think that my construct has generated an interferon response but I don't know which detection kit to use.

Has anyone used a detection kit before? HELP!!!

you can use the pSTAT antibody
Stat is activated during interferon response (by phosphorylation).

Wen et al. Cell 82:241-50, stat 1 can be phosphrylated on tyr 701 et sérine 727. phosphorylation on Tyr 701 is essential for STAT1 activation

on m RNA analysis, the targeted RNA is OAS
