Does Mirus Jurkat TransIt is effective reagent? - Anibody use it? (Sep/17/2005 )

Hi! Does Mirus Jurkat TransIt is effective reagent? I`ve used it and coefficient of transfection is very low. Is it feature of reagent, or I have crooked hands? :-(

We have tried several reagent for Jurkat (electroporation, lipo2000, Gencarrier-2, fugene6, TransIT,GeneJuice, JetPEI, GeneJamer...), so far only Gencarrier-2 gave us reasonable efficiency and extremely low toxicity. The other reagents worked poorly and some showed very high cell death.

We also notice that some promoters not work well in Jurkat and easily being supressed.
