There is such a thing as 5 minute ligations and they are wonderful. Invitrogen sells a number of kits with this ligation procedure. The kits are all called TOPO-.... I am not very familiar with the mechanism, but it works really well.

Try T4 DNA ligase offered by Gibco. They claim 5 minutes-ligation at room temperature. No affiliation.
