too much APS - (Sep/09/2005 )

If I accidentally add double of the APS I'm supposed to add to my acrylamide gels, should I be worried that I will cause an 8% gel to have more crosslinking than it should?

I don't think you have to worry about that.

I'm agree with Theo22.
Do not worry.
Sometimes I add a bit much in my acrilamide gels, and I do not find so much differences with "normal" APS gels wink.gif

It will simply go faster. If you add too much temed or APS, be ready to pour quickly. Really quickly. wink.gif
