I have used AEC as a substrate in immunoperoxidase test as its colour found to be better than other substrates. But , is there any special affinity for AEC to some tissues like epithelial cells, RBC etc.? if anyone can guide me in this matter,? thank you.........Bineesh

Do you block endogenous peroxidases? That is the only potential source of background to my knowledge.
