UV and nematodes - (Aug/24/2005 )

Hi! is anyone working with C elegans? it is my first time working with them and i need to irradiate them with UV. No one is working with them t my lab so i am trying to do everything from the beggining. i have a protocol for Psoralem mutagenesis and i know that is better to follow it as it is writting at the beggining but i was wondering if after washing them (the nematodes) with M9 Buffer it is necessary to suspend them in TMP in DMSO.I am also not sure why is this step for.
