I am new in the field of bioinformatics but I have done a few works on Ecoli k12 DNA sequence. You can extract the whole sequence of this DNA and the location of each gene on it. Then you can compute the length of genes and have the protein sizes by dividing them by 3.
I apologize if my solution seems so basic to you?
