Help with defective cell lines - (Aug/12/2005 )

Hi everyone, now I am confronted with a big problem, that is, I have to use certain mammalian cell lines with defective molecules, for instance, bcl-2 or bax. Could anyone tell me how you would solve the problem if you are confronted with the same problem? Many thanks!

these two proteins are involved in apoptosis, if i'm nt wrong. Maybe your cell line is immortalized part by inactivation of these two proteins?...
can you tell us more about your cell line (the name for exmple, where derived from...)
