siRNA overhangs - do they matter? (Aug/11/2005 )

if i'm choosing from 19bp target sequences selected for me by a siRNA target algorithm, should i put dTdT on the end, even if its not homologous? or should i use two homologous nucleotides?

3' end overhangs of siRNAs do not necessarily need to be homologous to target sequence, but it won't hurt if they do.
