G418 in freezing medium? - (Aug/03/2005 )

Hi,

I have a stably transfected cell line which I maintain with G418, do I need to add G418 to the freefing medium when I make vials for freezing?

G418 in freezing media is not required.

Upon revival of frozen cells, u'll have to add G418 after 3-4 hrs of revival process.
