How to isolate cpDNA from dried ferns - (Aug/02/2005 )

do any one know the exact way of isolating chloroplast DNA from dried fern(plant)?
please help me by giving answers

If you want intact chloroplast DNA then this is going to be difficult. I would recommend using a plant DNA extraction and then PCR amplifying the cpDNA
