Conservation of miRNA's target site - (Jul/03/2005 )

Does anybody know whether there is miRNA that targets the non-conserved site on a particular gene?

I think if you could find a perfect match, even the target is not conserved, the chance is high that it is a real target. The problem is there are not so many perfect matches if you scan all gene sequences with all miRNAs.

Certainly, conserved = important.
