does enyone knows a specific protocol for Fixation of cell cultures with Formaldehyde for cell cycle analysis?

i din't use formaldehyde to fix cells for cell cycle analysis. you could fix your cells with 70% ethanol overnight at 4 centigrade. it works well.

What kind of cell cycle analyses? Flow based with PI?

i use formaldehyde fixation in DAPI staining and nick translation assay (4% formaldehyde in PBS for 10 min and 15 min, respectively), but these are apoptosis assays.

for cell cycle analysis i use PI staining and flow.
