A question about cell stain: fix the cell have fusion protein - (May/09/2005 )
I want to perform a cell immunostaining,
but I also want to observe the cell transfected
overexpression GFP-fusion protein at the same time,
so what's the fix reagent I can use to avoid the fusion protein denature?
What 's the suitable condition to keep the fusion protein activity in the
cell immunostaining exprimemt?
Thank a lot!

Try 1% paraformaldehyde in PBS for 15 minutes. If your antigen of interest is intracellular you are going to need to permeabilize with detergent prior to blocking and primary antibody.
