About using SMD(Stanford Microarray Dataset), help!!! - bioinformatics about dataset (Apr/25/2005 )

Hi all,

I am now struggling with normalization of microarray dataset of SMD. Since the data I downloaded from SMD are all raw data and thereby I have no idea to choose the appropriate reliable data of interest. Does anyone has similar experience of using the SMD, or other dataset likewise? Could you pls share your experience with me? I would be very appreciate for your helpful comments and help!! Can anybody help me in downloading SMD data set... do we need to configure apache for it also do we need oracle 9i for this purpose.
