anti c-myc - (Mar/18/2005 )

i´m not seing anything with this antibody ,< i´m using the control strain and nothing , sombody has an suggestion

you may less dilute your antibody and stain it overnight 4°. Does your secondary antibody give good results with other primary antibodies?

I would use SC-40, clone 9E10, 1:200 dilution, RT, 1 hour, not bad

Sure?
But Idetected more high background using 1:1000, without my interest band, however with a high molecular , about 200kd, band.
anyone can help me ?

well. i did get non specific bands using 1/500
i dilute now at 1:1000 block 1hour RT with TBS tween 0.05% non fat milk 5% and incubate o/N with mouse mAB. And works fine in my hands.
my secondary antibody is diluted 1:5000 and is a donkey anti mouse. cMyc is from santa cruz biotech and anti mouse from amersham pharmacia biotech.
