Minimize microarray hybridization background - (Feb/15/2005 )

Hi folks,

First of all thanks a lot to everybody who responded to my previous inquiries.
Then, there is another question: any tricks to minimize background
(mostly greenish in my case) after hybridization of the slide?

Hi,
How long are you blocking your slide prior to hybridization. If it is just a few hours, go longer. I go overnite and hardly have any background at all.

mostly greenish ?? are you using ethanol washing steps in my hand the reduce the background very well, but, quench the signal aspecialy the red signal

do you mean pre-hybridizaiton when you say " block slide"?
