Bradford Protein Assay - (Feb/09/2001 )

The recommended wavelength for the Bradford Protein Assay is 595nm. I don't have accessto a microtitre plate reader with this filter at the moment. BioRad state that you can use a range of wavelengths between 465 and 595nm. Has anyone tried a wavelength other than 595nm?

Thanks in advance for any help.

My reader only allows me to read at 620!The proteins I have isolated seem to work.

You can make a wavelength scanning to see which wavelength you can use. The Biorad must have established their recommendation by this way.
