phoenix infection with pBabe - (Feb/11/2005 )

I'm going to use pBabe-puro to infect 293T-derived phoenix cells. Someone knows any protocol can i use?

Hi,
I have also used nolan protocol to to produce retroviruses in order to immortalize primary hepatocytes, it works very well.
when I checked the efficiency of transfection of phenix cell using a GFP recombiant retrovirus, the result was very good.

for pBABE, i don't think it's a commercial vector. Just enter in contact with stewart lab...
For phoenix cells, also called Hek 293 P cells, look in your area if someone can provide some to you. In the other case, ATCC holds these.
