Phenol red in agarose gel - (Dec/16/2004 )

Hello,

Does any one of you ever runned Phenol Red on agarose gel. Is it supost to give any band?
I load 8ul of Phenol Red on an agarose gel and got one band of around 2kb...

just forget this thread. it was posted by a lab member of ours in my name cuz i wasnt in the lab to help him. i already told him that phenol red usually doesnt give bands on a gel and that its contamination he sees, which explains the result of his experiments.
