primary keratinocytes - HeKn - problem with culture (Dec/10/2004 )

Hello!
Somebody knows how cultre these cells? We are using original, recommended medium, but these cells growth very, very slowly (I've been waiting 3 months to get monolayer in T75 bottle), after trypsinisation 50% of cells are die. What I have to do to change this stuation?
I'll be gratefull for any tips, ideas, etc.

We add 10 ng/mL KGF (from Epoch Biolabs) in keratinocyte growth medium that help a lot. But be careful, KGF from other vendors sometimes have quality problem (variable from batch to batch).
