production of monoclonal antibodies - (Dec/05/2004 )

hai pals,
can someone help me out by giving me any successful protocol for the
production of monoclonal antibodies. i have tries few protocols
but the hybridomas were not surviving

I tried many protocols too, I also tried using macrophage layer. But all my hybridoma did not survive (they did not multiply). You need the growth factor. I used the Hybridoma Fusion and Cloning Supplement (Catalogue no. 1363735) from Roche Diagnostic, and it worked. Good Luck.
