OK to freeze lysates for assay later? - (Jan/07/2009 )
Can you store cell lysates in the -80C for a day or two and assay for luciferase activity later? I'm doing a few transfections at different time points and would like to just do one big assay instead of doing multiple assays, but not sure how much activity will be lost due to freeze/thaw or time.
Thanks!

you have a chance if you shock freeze with liquid nitrogen, then storage at -80°C will do
