Hello everyone

When will you finish Christmas holiday? Does everyone get holidays these days?

I do not know whether your professors there also have holidays or not!! Most professors here also work even when it is holiday.

Yup, starting on january 5th also.

Almost every professors go on holiday from dec 23 to jan 5. At my uni, that is!

Well, I thought that seeing how yesterday was the last day of the holiday period today it would be like a normal work day: wrong!!!

There was hardly any traffic on the road this morning, the parking lot at work is half empty, and the labs are pretty much deserted. Apparently lots of people tacked a few extra days of vacation onto the end of the holiday period. I've been sitting in a room by myself all morning counting the minutes until my lunch break (no experiments to do until tomorrow....)
