How to change medium without dislodging the cells - (Dec/23/2008 )

How to change medium without dislodging the cells? I am using HEK293 Gnti cells. It is very easy to detach from the bottom.

Thanks

Hi

I work with C6/36 cells and they are really easy to detach from the flasks, i don't even need trypsin to detach them, only shake and a little hits.
You should try to put medium on the opposite side of monolayer in flasks. if you are using wells, try to put medium slowing ( almost dropping).
