how to prepare 20%W/V of glyceryl tributyrate? - (Dec/10/2008 )

Dear All
I want to prepare 20%W/V of glyceryl tributyrate. The orginial stock solution from simga (T8626) is provided as a liquid and no percentage is written on it. How can I prepare it?

according to the specs at the sigma website, glyceryl tributyrate is provided as >99%.

so, you can treat it as 100% and weigh out 20gm (or calculate volume from the density of 1.032gm/ml (19.38ml)) and bring to 100ml with dw or whatever (adjust volumes as necessary).
